The former owners of a northern B.C. sawmill are asking the province's courts to let them buy back their business — and to release them from millions in debt.
Xiao Peng (Teddy) Cui and his wife Shanwei (Sandra) Wu petitioned the Skeena Sawmill in Terrace, B.C., into receivership last fall after claiming they suffered “perennial” financial losses. The mill has been closed since February 2023.
